Program Learning Outcome
In accordance with PERMENDIKBUD Regulation No. 3 of 2020 and National Higher Education Standards (SNPT) by KEMENRISTEK DIKTI No. 44 of 2015, the content standard in learning refers to the minimum criteria for the depth and breadth of course materials. At the master’s level, it is mandatory to integrate the results of research and community service into the learning process. This requirement aligns with the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) further described in the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI). Based on the KKNI guidelines, graduates of a master’s program are categorized at Level 8, which entails several key criteria, including:
- The ability to develop knowledge, technology, and/or the arts in their field of expertise or professional practice through research that leads to innovative and proven work;
- Mastery of theoretical and applied theory in a specific field of knowledge and skills;
- The ability to solve problems in science, technology, and/or the arts within their discipline through interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary approaches;
- The ability to manage research and development activities that are beneficial to society and scientific advancement, and gain national or international recognition.
The formulation of the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) must accommodate the above key criteria, covering aspects of attitudes, knowledge, general skills, and specific skills. To produce graduates that meet the expected profile, the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) of the Master’s Program in Environmental Engineering are established. These learning outcomes have been aligned with Level 8 of the KKNI.These outcomes consist of four components:
- Attitudes and Core Values
- Knowledge Mastery
- Work Capabilities
- Managerial Abilities
